How to Wash Microfiber Towels: Easy Care Guide

How to wash microfiber towels without damaging it?

Microfiber towels or cloths are among the best cleaning tools in your home. They can easily mop up spills and get rid of dirt and dust far better than ordinary rags. However, as with any cleaning towels, they can get dirty and grimy over time.

This is why it is best that you learn how to wash microfiber towels the right way.

Even when you are using The Crown Choice microfiber cloth, it will require maintenance too which you will learn right here.

But first, let’s find out the right way to use one.

How to Use Microfiber Towels or Cloths

Is microfiber safe to use on different types of surfaces? Yes, it is since it is made from lint-free materials that will not scratch glass, chrome, wood, or any other surface. Here’s how you can use it effectively.

  • Use only one side of your microfiber towel for cleaning. Fold your towel in half, then fold it again. This way you will have eight surfaces to use for cleaning.
  • If it is just for dusting surfaces, you can use it as is. However, if it involves scrubbing stubborn dirt, you will need to dampen the towel first before using it on the surface.
  • Once one side of the cloth gets dirty, re-fold it to reveal a clean side of the cloth and continue with your work.

The more you know

Ah, the 90's.

I remember uploading my first website on Geocities. Turns out that someone else more capable and business-minded like me has brought back online a kind of Geocities type site.

I remember putting up my first cleaning guide on Geocities but now I can relive that nostalgia using a service called Neocities. So I tried it and uploaded my index.html and look at the result!

Click on the link. It's glorious! It's the 90's all over again!

Today I learned

Today I learned about Github and how easy it is to use if you just want to deploy a simple website fast. It's less complicated than using Google Cloud platform although it's not as robust.

That video about Google Cloud platform feels daunting. Not with Github pages. It's easier even I can make an HTML file.

I tried to make a backup of a site here. That free backup did not look too bad.

Heres an easy to follow tutorial.

When the going gets tough...

This blog should only be about cleaning and dish scrubbies but seeing as how the world has changed so much in a couple weeks, to hell with the rules. We only live once anyway.

Since this corona thing started exploding we realize that it's more important to directly tackle a problem. Health problems should be treated as a health problem not a PR problem.

Flatlining a global pandemic depends on people's hygiene. If you don't wash your hands before then you should start now.

Downtime is difficult for people but you can play board games or videogames at home. You can watch movies if you have the Internet but you can also watch your DVD collection. If you don't have DVD's I hope you still have a VCR to play your VHS tapes.

It's kinda heartbreaking to have a VCR then you realize that you only have Beta Max tapes.

Anyway, aside from playing games and watching movies, cleaning your home is a great way to pass the time. Take a shower after cleaning your house. Don't make any excuses. If you took a shower before cleaning, take a shower again after cleaning. Jeez, c'mon.

Clean your house with the best equipment your money can buy.

Buy 'em cheap, you get what you pay for, right? The key here is to balance what you pay for with what you expect the product to give back to you.

Easier said than done?

Not at all. Not when you plan like me.

I plan everything from cleaning my house to planning social gatherings like my weekly poker nights with my squad. Even with this pandemic, I plan around that too by using technology.

I'm rambling now and writing all this fluffy, generic post, am I not? I also don't like it when people act like their time is more important than yours. Like when a husband thinks his time is more valuable than his stay-at-home wife.

Your time is important too.

See, we've circled back to cleaning and talking about me and what I'm interested in.

Dish Scrubbie - Cute, fun, colorful scrubbies to brighten your kitchen life

Have you seen our products on TV? Well, here's the story behind one of our first products.

The backstory of Dish Scrubbie

My wife hates washing the dishes – like most normal people.

One of the reasons is because our kitchen sponge stank of dirty socks and underwear.

She didn’t want to touch the thing. One day while visiting her mom, she found a crocheted scrubber and was won over by how good it cleaned and didn’t build odors.

With the initial prototype in hand, she set out to create her masterpiece.

With kitchen chores being a “chore”, she wanted to create something fun. Something that would be bright and somewhat fun to bring some life to washing dishes.

From there a strawberry was born along with his little friends- blueberry, eggplant, watermelon and lemon.

Other friends like orange and lime left for college 🙂
